Tara McNeill

Tara McNeill is a violinist, singer and harpist from Antrim, Ireland.

 In August 2016 Tara became a member of the Irish Music Sensation 'Celtic Woman'. She is the second violinist to join the #1 World Music Artists and she is also the first multi-instrumentalist as she brings her harp and voice to the group.

 Tara graduated with First class honours in the BA in Music Performance (violin) at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under the tuition of Michael D’Arcy. She has toured China, Argentina, Chile and Mexico with Camerata Ireland and world-renowned pianist, Barry Douglas, performed with the RTE Concert Orchestra and Ulster Orchestra, led the Ulster Youth Orchestra and both the RIAM Chamber and Symphony Orchestras. Tara performed the Irish premiere of Finzi's Violin Concerto in the National Concert Hall, Dublin in April, 2013. 

 Tara has toured Canada, China, Japan and Holland as both a singer and solo violinist with the vocal group Anúna. She is also the solo violinist on their album ‘Illumination’. In Celtic Woman's 2015 TV special 'Destiny', Tara appeared playing the harp.

 Orchestral tours have taken Tara throughout Europe, China, Japan, Korea and America performing in venues such as Carnegie hall, New York, Oriental Arts Centre, Shanghai and the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing. She has won many awards including the Inaugural Flax Trust Classics £5000 bursary and The George & Angela Moore Flax Trust Classics Audience Award in 2012, the Leo Gibney Award for Chamber Music (RIAM), Ballymena Music Festival’s prestigious Young Instrumentalist Award in 2009 and Holywood Music Festival’s Ulster Bank Festival Gala Cup and the d’Arcy Cup and Award in 2010.

Mairéad Carlin

Mairéad Carlin is a Grammy-nominated singer from Derry, Northern Ireland. Mairéad began her career at the age of 15, winning BBC Talent's Young Singers Competition, resulting in her performance of the title role, The Rose, in Rachel Portman's The Little Prince. The score and vocals were recorded by Sony Classical in Abbey Road Studios, alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra. This same project also marked Mairéad's debut performance at The Royal Opera House in London. 

Mairéad trained in Vocal Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. Upon graduating, she signed her first record deal with Decca (Universal Music), and her debut album Songbook was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra at AIR Studios Lyndhurst. 

Mairéad subsequently toured the UK and Ireland with American singer-songwriter, Don McLean, which included a sold out concert at The Royal Albert Hall. She also performed with legendary artist American Carly Simon. 

Mairead has performed for the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, celebrating the Irish national anthem in Twickenham for the Ireland vs. England rugby Six Nations, airing to millions of TV viewers the world over. 

Mairéad worked closely with Oscar-winning lyricist Don Black on the Stay Away From Stars album. This album, written by Don and composer Alexander Rudd, featured songs written specifically for Mairéad's voice This, too, was recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the English Session Orchestra.

Other notable orchestras Mairéad has performed alongside include the: Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Boston Pops Orchestra, Atlanta Pops Orchestra, and Colorado Symphony Orchestra. 

Most recently Mairéad collaborated with Irish singer Daniel O Donnell, appearing as a special guest on his tv show Opry Le Daniel on TG4. Mairéad is so thrilled to be returning to Celtic Woman for the 20th anniversary tour ‘it really feels like coming home.’

Muirgen O’Mahony

Originally from County Cork in Ireland, Muirgen has been performing as an actor, singer and instrumentalist for almost 10 years. She studied as a classical soprano at the Cork School of Music before furthering her training in musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Over the past number of years, Muirgen has been lucky enough to share the stage with some amazing performers and musicians. She has performed on several occasions as a soloist with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra at the National Concert Hall, most notably in their New Year’s Eve Gala Concert in 2018.

Most recently, as part of RTÉ ‘Winter Sessions’, Muirgen featured in ‘The Musicals’ alongside Susan McFadden and Killian Donnelly - a project that was recorded at the RDS in Dublin and was televised in early 2021.

Emma Warren

Emma is originally from Dublin, now living in Donegal and has been singing and dancing from a very young age. She has recently returned from London's Westend, performing at the Sondheim Theatre in Les Misérables The Musical after touring the world with Riverdance as their lead dancer for over 5 years. Performing is Emma's passion and she is absolutely thrilled to join the Celtic Woman family for their 20th Anniversary!

Emma has a Masters in Musical Theatre (Distinction), from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Her theatre work also includes: Lou-Ann in Hairspray (UK & Ireland Tour), Johanna in Sweeney Todd (RWCMD), Tiger Bay The Musical (Wales Millennium Centre), Jasmine in Aladdin (National Stadium, Dublin & Beck Theatre, London), Lead Dancer and Singer in Riverdance (Gaiety Theatre - Dublin, UK, North America, Australia/New Zealand, China and Japan Tours), Lead Dancer in Heartbeat of Home (Bord Gais Energy Theatre - Dublin, China and North American Tours), Prodijig (Sadler’s Wells Theatre & UK tour), Jill in Jack and the Beanstalk (Helix Theatre, Dublin), Cinders in Cinderella (Olympia Theatre, Dublin).

She performed at the St. David’s Day Gala celebration honouring Catherine Zeta Jones (Rainbow Room, Rockefeller Centre, New York), and at the Tribute Gala Concert to Dame Shirley Bassey (RWCMD). 

Her television appearances include Over The Rainbow (BBC), The One Show, The Late Late Show and Good Morning America.

Megan Walsh

Megan Walsh is 21 years of age and is from Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland. Her ambition has always been to have a career as a professional singer. 
 
Megan studies at the Royal Academy Of Music in London and previously completed Grade 8 exams (Distinction) with the Royal Irish Academy of Music (Classical, Musical Theatre, and Popular Music). She also attained a Certificate in Acting Performance, First Class Honours, with the Irish Board of Speech and Drama.
 
Megan is a classically trained soprano, but is proficient in many genres. 
 
Megan is a seasoned performer, having been on stage from a very young age. She has performed as a soloist in many prestigious venues, such as Carnegie Hall (New York), The Oddysey (Belfast), The RDS (Dublin), the National Concert Hall (Dublin),The Helix (Dublin), the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and the National Convention Centre, (Dublin), to name but a few. 
 
In 2014, at age 17, Megan won "The Soloist" competition with the "Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland". This journey took her initially to the USA, where she sang in New Jersey, then Connecticut and then on to the stage of the famous Carnegie Hall, New York. On returning to Ireland she performed, as a soloist, with the orchestra for two years, performing in many major venues across the whole Island of Ireland. 
 
As a keen participant in the Irish Musical Society arena, Megan has performed many roles, both as lead and ensemble. She played "Cosette" in Les Miserables, "Mary Magdalene" in Jesus Christ Superstar, “Ida”  (Honk), “Tracy” (Hairspray), “Sour Kangaroo” (Seussical), “Gabriella” (High School Musical), “Grizabella” (Cats), plus many other shows in supporting roles.
 
She has done tribute performances for the likes of "Christine" (Phantom of the Opera), "Maria" (West Side Story),  "Maria" (The Sound of Music) and many others.
 
Megan has been involved in many Fund Raising events, the most notable being the Irish Rugby Football Union's Charitable Trust and the 'Lily Mae' charity (Tiny Dancer). She is open to requests for charity work, schedule permitting.
 
Megan was the 2015 holder of the Arklow Challenge Cup and the Kerryman’s Association Lieder Cup (Arklow Music Festival 2015).

Hannah Traynor

Originally from Kilkenny, Hannah is a graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Over the last 10 years she has performed in several prestigious venues including The Waterfront Hall(Belfast), Her Majesty’s Theatre(London), National Concert Hall(Dublin), and Bunkamura Orchard Hall (Tokyo). 

Hannah was a member of the Irish ensemble ‘Anúna’ for several years, with whom she toured across Europe, Asia and Morocco. She has had the opportunity to sing on several recordings with the group, including soundtracks for Nintendo. Some highlights during this time include the BBC proms in 2017, the Fes World Sacred Music Festival in Morocco, and a performance of ‘At the hawks well’ by W.B. Yeats in Tokyo with a Japanese noh theatre company. 

She has been part of several opera productions, both during her studies and professionally, working with companies such as Irish National Opera and Opera Collective Ireland. In 2017 she performed a lead role at the Operavizsga Festival in Budapest, Hungary. 

Hannah has performed the soprano solo in works like Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Allegri’s Miserere and Vivaldi’s Gloria with various choirs across Ireland.  

Though classically trained, Hannah loves singing all genres. She is so excited to be joining Celtic Woman with such a fantastic line up of singers and musicians. 

Éabha McMahon

Éabha was born in Dublin. She debuted with Celtic Woman in the album and DVD / TV special Celtic Woman: Destiny in 2015. On 22 January 2020, it was announced that McMahon was taking leave from the group to work on her own projects. Chloë Agnew returned to the group to take her place.

Susan McFadden

Susan McFadden is an Irish actress and singer. She was named as a replacement for Lisa Kelly, who was then going on maternity leave. She debuted with Celtic Woman in February at Nashville, Tennessee for the kick-off of the "Believe" North American Tour and continued with the European, Australian and South African Tours in 2012. She became a full-time member after Lisa Kelly announced her departure in January 2013. Susan announced her maternity leave on 12 August 2018. Susan re-joined for a few shows in October 2019, filling in for Mairead Carlin while she recovered from appendicitis. On 22 January 2020, it was announced that Susan will be performing in six shows for the spring tour in the cities where Chloë Agnew will not be appearing.

Méav

Dubliner Méav Ní Mhaolchatha is a multi-million selling Irish singer and recording artist and a founding member of Celtic Woman. Every album she has recorded with the group has reached Number 1 in the Billboard World Music Charts, and her relationship with the group continues to develop and grow.

Raised in a musical family, Méav was educated through the Irish language and studied classical voice, harp and piano while simultaneously studying law in Trinity College. Her crystal clear voice and fusion of classical training and folk roots have won her fans all over the world. She regularly performs as a soloist with international orchestras and with her own band in Europe, North America, Japan and Korea where her singing is known as healing music. She is featured on several film soundtracks and TV shows including Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure for Disney and The Aristocrats for the BBC. She performed in the US premiere of Riverdance and toured as the solo vocalist in Lord of The Dance. She has released four successful solo albums, most recently The Calling with legendary producer Craig Leon. She met Craig in Abbey Road Studios, London while they worked together on the score of a space film in collaboration with NASA.

Méav left Celtic Woman in 2008 while her children were young and resumed her solo career, performing to a sell-out crowd with the New York Pops Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. She was invited to return to Celtic Woman for their TV special and album Home for Christmas  in 2012. She was voted Best Female Vocalist 2013 in the Irish Music Awards.  In 2015  she toured as a guest vocalist with  Celtic Woman as part of their 10 year Anniversary celebrations. She has been Celtic Woman’s Vocal Director and Creative Consultant since 2015, drawing on her broad knowledge of Irish music and her wide recording and performance experience to choose songs and mentor the singers of Celtic Woman.   She regularly collaborates on new compositions and arrangements for the show, including Ballroom of Romance and Follow Me from Ancient Land.  Méav appears as a guest vocalist on Destiny and also  co-arranged a number of  tracks on the Grammy-nominated album.  She also guests  on the Voices of Angels album which topped the Billboard Classical charts. Méav is uniquely positioned to honour the musical legacy of Celtic Woman while continuing to develop the group’s sound and style with her colleagues on the Production team.

Orla Fallon

Órla Fallon is an Irish soloist and singer-songwriter. In 2004, she was invited by composer David Downes and became one of the founding members of the group. Fallon has performed the harp as well as singing. She was featured in the self-titled debut album Celtic Woman, Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration, and Celtic Woman: A New Journey, as well as in the tie-in PBS television specials and DVDs filmed in 2004, 2007, and 2006 respectively. She also toured with the group in 2005 on the inaugural North American, and the A New Journey tours. In 2009, Fallon announced that she would be leaving the group to spend time with her family, and was replaced by Alex Sharpe.

Máiréad Nesbitt

Máiréad Nesbitt is an Irish classical and Celtic music performer, most notably as a violinist. In 2004, she was invited to play for a performance at the Helix Theatre in Dublin, called "Celtic Woman." She is featured on nine of the group's albums: Celtic Woman, Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration, Celtic Woman: A New Journey, Celtic Woman: The Greatest Journey, Celtic Woman: Songs from the Heart, Celtic Woman: Lullaby, Celtic Woman: Believe, and Celtic Woman: Home for Christmas, and Destiny. On 7 August 2016, it was announced that Nesbitt would be stepping away to focus on her own projects.

Chloë Agnew

Chloë Agnew is an internationally renowned singer who shot to fame for her integral part as the youngest and one of the original members of the world-famous music group ‘Celtic Woman’ which she joined when she was just 14. Born in Dublin, Ireland to entertainer Adéle "Twink" King and Irish oboist David Agnew, Chloë began professionally acting, singing and dancing at a very early age, making first television appearance on her mother's TV program at just four weeks old, and her first singing début on National Television at the age of 6.

In 1998 Chloë had won the Grand Prix at the First International Children's Song Competition in Cairo, Egypt, where she represented Ireland. She made her PBS début in 1999 as part of Handel's Messiah performing alongside the legendary Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Roger Daltrey and Aidan Quinn. In 2004 Chloë had just finished recording her second solo album when she was cast as one of the original soloists for Celtic Woman. 

The Celtic Woman PBS Special first aired in March 2005 and within weeks the group's eponymous debut album reached #1 on Billboard’s World Music chart. It eventually toppled Andrea Bocelli’s 68-week run at the #1 spot on 22 July 2006. The album ultimately held the top position on the Billboard World Music chart for 81 weeks. Their second album, Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration knocked their first album to the #2 spot on the World Music chart  when released in October 2006.

To date Chloë is featured on a total of 14 of Celtic Woman’s albums, recording songs in English, Irish, Latin, Japanese, Italian and German on their various albums, which have sold more than eight million copies worldwide, and all of which have debuted at #1 on Billboard's World Music chart. Celtic Woman have sold out concerts in prestigious venues across the globe from Carnegie Hall -NYC, Red Rocks, Colorado, Radio City Music Hall to several Arenas in Europe, Japan and Australia, performing for almost three million fans. She has performed with Celtic Woman on hit US TV shows such as Dancing with the Stars, Regis and Kelly, The Today Show and Good Morning America and many more. In 2013 Chloë made a guest appearance on the hugely successful show ‘Bold and the Beautiful’.

Chloë had the incredible honor of performing for three consecutive US Presidents (Clinton, Bush and Obama) before she turned 20. She has also performed for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey and has collaborated with amazing artists such as Chris De Burgh, Anne Murray, Selim Kagee and PS22 Chorus to name but a few. As a solo artist Chloë teamed up with renowned Italian tenor, Alessandro Rinella and Warner Chapel Music Producer Leo Z on the song "L'Assenza". In 2012 she was named Best Female Vocalist at the Irish Music Awards.

Chloë performed with Celtic Woman for almost a decade before moving on to pursue a solo career in 2013. The past 6 years have been busy for the singer; performing at Croke Park’s Stars, Choirs and Carols Guinness Book of Records concert to crowd of 15,000; singing in front of 20,000 strong audience and alongside 2,000 mass pipe and drum musicians at the international Military Tattoo festival in Basel, Switzerland and the Cape Town Military Tattoo; onstage with longtime Celtic Woman colleague Lisa Kelly and esteemed Irish tenors Paul Byrom, Emmet Cahill and Emmett O’ Hanlon (former members of Celtic Thunder) and with Grammy and Emmy nominee and voice of Riverdance Michael Londra at The Fred Amphitheatre in Georgia.

Chloë performed at the prestigious Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and collaborated with Emmy award-winning tenor Eamonn McCrystal on his album And So It Goes in a duet with the legendary Rita Wilson. She is featured in several television shows that are currently airing on PBS including The Power of Music with Ethan Bortnick and Damian McGinty (Glee Project/Celtic Thunder), and the Nathan Carter Celtic Country show. Chloë has been touring with top Irish artist Nathan Carter since 2017 and is the headline act for the award-winning Atlanta Pops Orchestra on its National US tours.

Chloë’s début solo single ‘Love is Christmas’, entered the Top 10 in the iTunes music charts. She followed this with her début solo EP The Thing About You in 2018. Produced by Joshua Spacht and Brian Hitt, the EP features 5 tracks, four of which she wrote herself. Recorded between studios in Nashville,TN and Hollywood,CA, Chloë’s new musical style is unlike anything fans have heard before from this talented Irish songbird.

Lynn Hilary

Lynn Hilary is an Irish singer, guitarist, and songwriter. In 2007, original member Méav Ní Mhaolchatha decided to leave the group to focus on her solo career. Hilary joined the group as Ní Mhaolchatha's replacement in time for the Fall A New Journey tour, which started on 10 October 2007 in Estero, FL. She was the first new member to join the group since its inception in 2004. She left Celtic Woman in November 2010 to continue performing in Ireland. On 14 February 2014, it was announced that Lynn would be returning for their Emerald tour in March while Lisa Lambe took a short 'leave of absence.' Lynn left the show after the 10th Anniversary tour. She has been a member of Anúna and continues to perform and record with the ensemble, most recently on their album "Revelation" (2015).

Lisa Kelly

Lisa Kelly is a singer of both classical and Celtic music. She was a founding member of the group. During the A New Journey tour, Kelly took a break for the birth of her children and was replaced by Alex Sharpe In December 2011, Lisa announced that she would be taking another maternity leave and would not participate in the 2012 Believe Tour. She was replaced by Susan McFadden. In January 2013 Lisa announced her departure and moved to Peachtree City, Georgia, USA, where she announced the opening of The Lisa Kelly Voice Academy, indicating a switch from performing to teaching. The new voice academy is being run in conjunction with her husband Scott Porter, the former CEO of Celtic Woman Ltd.

Lisa Lambe

Lisa Lambe is an Irish singer and actress. After the Songs From the Heart Tour, in November 2010, Lynn Hilary announced she was leaving the group to return to Ireland. Celtic Woman later announced that Lambe would join the group as part of the spring 2011 tour lineup. Lambe said that she was "Delighted to be joining Celtic Woman! It is a privilege to be part of this amazing show and I am looking forward to it being an incredible experience." Lambe left the group in late 2014 to continue her solo career.

Alex Sharpe

Alex Sharpe is an Irish performer known for her musical roles. When founding member Lisa Kelly went on maternity leave, Sharpe became a temporary member in 2008. In 2009, Sharpe became a permanent member, in effect replacing Órla Fallon. She has toured with the group on their 2009 Isle of Hope tour, and recorded the CD and DVD for Songs from the Heart, released in January 2010. The group toured North America from February to May 2010 on their 'Songs from the Heart' tour. After the tour finished, Sharpe announced she would be leaving to be with her family full-time.

Hayley Westenra

Hayley Westenra is a New Zealand singer, classical crossover artist, songwriter and UNICEF Ambassador. She joined in August 2006 and was featured on Celtic Woman: A New Journey CD and DVD, toured on their 2007 Spring Tour, and was also featured on their DVD, The Greatest Journey: Essential Collection, released in 2008. After the Spring Tour ended, Hayley left to return to her solo career.

Deirdre Shannon

Deirdre Shannon is an Irish singer who has also toured with other Celtic music groups, such as Anúna, and Celtic Thunder. She has also been a principal singer in the group, but was never featured in the studio DVDs. She joined the group as a stand-in during the first Celtic Woman tour in 2005 after Méav's first child was born.
